Quilters
Serving the quilters the first Tuesday of each month. Plan to serve 15-20 people. Morning coffee and goodies (such as muffins or sweet rolls) are served about 9:30 a.m. and the noon lunch often consists of salad or hot dish, buns, and dessert. Other suggestions for the noon meal may be soup and sandwiches, chili and crackers, egg bake and muffins, etc.
Funerals
The church office will notify servers when a funeral is to occur and will include information such as the date and time of the funeral, how many people are to attend and any other important details. We generally serve open faced sandwiches layered with meat or cheese, bars, pickles, coffee and lemonade.
- A large pan of bars should serve 20-25.
- Buns, meat and cheese will be purchased from Hornbachers and at the church ahead of time. If you are able to pick up items from Hornbachers, please let us know.
- Use the church’s silverware, plates, cups and mugs (our dishwasher is fully functional and easy to use).
- There are electric coffee makers in the kitchen.
