ELCA
Glyndon Lutheran Church is part of the larger church body known as the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America or ELCA. As a congregation of the ELCA we support many of the ministry projects that are taking place on a more national church level such as Good Gifts, an alternate gift giving option, or collecting money to help with world hunger and building wells for clean water.

Northwestern Minnesota Synod
The Northwestern Minnesota Synod is a smaller church body that we are a part of. The ELCA as a whole is divided into many areas, getting smaller and smaller to help organize in a way that promotes teamwork between congregations.
On the synod webpage you will find information about what is happening in the ELCA in Northwestern Minnesota, while also finding information about upcoming events, how the synod is governed, and contact information for our synod staff including Bishop Bill Tesch.

Pathways
It is a true blessing to be in ministry with Pathways Bible Camp. Pathways has two camps, Camp Emmaus and Camp Minne-Wa-Kan, with the primary camp for much of our youth’s camp ministry taking place at Camp Emmaus.
Each summer, many of our youth attend various programs led by Pathways including Day Camp and various weeks of camp at Camp Emmaus. We hope that you will not only consider sending your child or grandchild to camp, but that you take some time to visit and soak in the beauty that comes from outdoor ministry.
