Worship

Jesus-statueGlyndon Lutheran Church gathers together to worship as a community of faith on Sunday mornings at 9:00am where all are invited to hear God’s word.

Our Sunday worship services are live-streamed on our YouTube Channel as well, so any and all can attend, or view later.  If you subscribe and enable notifications, you’ll get a notice each time a services is about to start.

GLC typically meets Wednesday Evenings for Worship as well.  Currently, during our Pastoral Vacancy, we don’t have the staffing to support the additional worship, but plan to re-establish them once a new Pastor is called.

Whether you choose to worship on Sunday mornings or Wednesday evenings, we hope that you find Glyndon Lutheran to be a place where you hear God’s story and the way that it connects to our daily lives.

During worship, a variety of opportunities are offered to help you have an experience that is uplifting and meaningful, while also providing you with relevancy no matter your age. As we gather together for worship, we gather knowing that we don’t have all the answers and that it is okay to still have questions. More so, we trust that even with unanswered questions, our faith will be strengthened through the community we are gathered in where we hear God’s Word, while engaging in hymns that share new meaning and gathering together at the Lord’s Table weekly where all are welcome.

Throughout the year, special worship services take place including Advent, Christmas Eve, Lent, Holy Week, Easter, Pentecost, Reformation Day, and All Saints’ Day.

For those of you with children, we know they can be active. Please know that you are welcome noises and all. Their presence in worship is an opportunity for growing, learning, and understanding not only the practice of worship, but more importantly God’s Word while also having the opportunity to build relationships with caring adults.
