Affirmation of Faith Basics for 7th and 8th Graders
Guidelines for students who are seeking to affirm their faith in 10th grade
- At least 9 sermon notes per year (corresponding to Sunday Serving)
- Attend faith formation class (13) and worship services (14) = 27 sessions/hours
- Help Lead Sunday School Worship on your Sunday. Meet with Pastor Kayla during Sunday School Hour to discuss sermon/sermon note.
- Acolyte, Usher and Serve Coffee (as scheduled) plus one at large church event each year (Christmas, Maundy Thursday, Easter, 5th Sundays)
- 4 servant events each year (3 are already mandatory)
- Learn the 10 Commandments
- Attend summer bible camp at least once during 7th or 8th grade

Sunday, September 13th
Please wear long pants, close-toed shoes, and bring work gloves
Bring a side dish for the potluck, stay for kickball
Leaf Raking

Feed My Starving Children (with trip to Valley Scare)
TBD (Cost: $60)
Please wear close-toed shoes. No Tank Tops allowed.
Harvest Supper (mandatory)
Wednesday November 4th
Please wear tennis shoes, nice pants, and a clean shirt

Christmas Caroling
Sunday, December 13th
Please wear festive clothes and bring money for lunch
Palm Sunday Breakfast (mandatory)
