Senior High YouthCalling all Western States Youth Gathering Participants and Parents:We will be having a short meeting Sunday, May 4th at 12:00 (right after the 10:45 service)in the basement.
All Jr. High and High School Students are invited to: ROCK THE DIKE WHEN: Friday, May 9, 2008 We will leave the church at 5 pm and be back by 10:30 pm WHERE: Dike West COST: The event is free; bring money for concessions Sign up on the sheet on the bulletin board outside of Kris’ office by Sunday, May 4th and grab a permission form. Junior High Youth Confirmation Service Project
On Wednesday, May 14 confirmation students will be walking around Glyndon looking for
items to add to the food pantry. Items needed are: any non-perishable food items –
the pantry is low on canned meat (tuna, chicken or ham) also personal hygiene items are accepted. Please have items ready for when the Confirmation students come knocking!
Students will meet at the church at 6:00 p.m.. They will be back at the church around 8:00.
Some needs for the event include : wagons to pull and two or three parents to drive
with cars to empty food from wagons into their trunks.
Future Confirmation Servant Events:
Kris will be setting up times this summer to volunteer in different capacities at Eventide Nursing Home in Moorhead. If you are interested, please contact Kris
Along with Dilworth Lutheran we have been given the opportunity to help at the Special Olympics this summer. More details are to come for this event; please talk to Kris if you are interested.
