Additional Calendar Notes

On the first Tuesday of every month, the women of GLC gather to serve God by cutting, assembling, sewing and tying quilts that are given away. In and amongst all this work, there is laughter, tears, love and, of course, coffee and a little lunch.

                           40 Days of Purpose Coming to GLC!

Have you ever been interested in doing a bookstudy on “The Purpose Driven Life?”

During this Lenten season you will have the chance to meet with others who are pursuing their purpose in life, during supper from 5:30-6:45 on Wednesday evenings.  Sign up sheet is in the Narthex.  Remember that it starts March 8th.   

The San Antonio Bound Youth are sponsoring our suppers.  The money raised will go to help them pay for their trip.  Thrivent Lutheran is providing matching funds. Suppers will be served from 5:00-6:30 p.m.

• Wednesday, March 1^st, Scalloped Potatoes and ham, salad, dinner rolls, & dessert.
• Wednesday, March 8^th, Chili and fixin’s, cornbread and dessert
• Wednesday, March 15^th, Lasagna (Marilyn’s homemade), garlic bread, salad, & dessert
• Wednesday, March 22^nd, Chicken and Rice, glazed baby carrots, rolls, & dessert
• Wednesday, March 29^th, Bake Potato Bar/all the fixings, salad, dessert
• Wednesday, April 5^th, Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup, sandwiches (ham & Turkey) & dessert
